Project Pretty in Pink
This beautifully giving organization needs your help.
Project Pretty in Pink is a humanitarian project designed to reach the uninsured and under-insured women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We will take gently used bras and prosthesis and donate them at a Correct Fitting Event once each month for women referred by the treating physician, agency, family or friend. Being actively involved in the community is very important to us. Contact Silhouette if you have any donations to make to the Project Pretty in Pink and make a difference.
Insurance Providers
Silhouette is contracted with most insurance companies. You will be informed of your coverage prior to your fitting so that you can make informed decisions regarding products and product upgrades. Medicare, MediCal, private insurers and HMOs offer some post mastectomy products in most health insurance coverage plans. Insurance companies usually allow a woman that has had a mastectomy a prosthesis every one to two years and four to six bras annually.
